Wild giggled when Blaz told her that he could be a mastermind of pranks, and she kissed him softly. "I am guilty of being the mastermind of a few pranks myself," she admitted. "My sweet little orphans do anything I ask of them, so if anyone dares to insult you or your sweet mother when I am listening, you know where to put the blame... But I agree that you know how to calm me, and you are the only one who is allowed to calm me like that..."
Wild smiled when Saben spoke of Therese, asking if she had seen the child. "Therese has really changed for the better since you took her under your wings," she smiled. "Speaking of which, I think I saw her near the food not long ago. But I saw young Marshall in the crowd too. My guess is that they are together somewhere. I don't think they are too far away since dinner will be served soon. She said shortly before the ceremony that she looks forward to dance with you."
Lady Eileen sat down on her place, smiling when Saben came to join her. "The children look very happy tonight," she smiled as she looked over the crowd. "I have started pondering on if I should adopt young Maurice. My husband always wanted a son, and Maurice has the same color on his eyes as my husband did - have you noticed? Paul seem to be more attached to Master Slafin, and I think our dear elf is melting for him. It wouldn't surprise me if Paul soon gets adopted too. As for Oliver, I have noticed Lord Elrond and his family are very friendly with him. I have to ask his wife if she is planning to adopt another son."
Yvette was glad Daddy did not laugh at her for being clumsy on the dance floor. When he scooped her up in his arms, she wrapped her arms and legs around him, kissing his cheek in a daughterly manner when they continued to dance. "You are the best dance partner I have had too, Daddy," she smiled, a gleam of humor in her eyes. "Because this is the first dance I've been to. Besides, I don't want to laugh at you - I love you, Daddy!"
The blonde woman stood nearby and watched Lord Haidar with a shy smile in her face. Her name was Isabella, and she was a shy, young woman with a warm heart and a gentle soul. She loved reading books and playing chess, and she was also very fond of children. She had been married, but her husband had died before he could claim her as his woman. Her sisters laughed at her and called her useless, an eternal virgin who would never find a man to love. But Isabella only smiled sadly and retired to her world of books. The stories had been her comfort when life became too hard, and it was the books which were her rescue when she as a widow sought for a way to survive. She became the first female teacher in Brunian, and she did remarkably well. All her students managed to learn something from her. At days she managed to keep the pain of being alone away, her job taking all of her time. But at night she was awake, longing, yearning for someone to love. But her husband was dead, and she had nobody else...
That was, until she saw Lord Haidar. She was too shy to speak to him, and yet she could not take her eyes off him when she saw him. Her cheeks blushed and her heart raced in her chest... and she knew she was slowly falling for the Kamalli leader.
Yvette noticed the glances between the adult and giggled, then hugged Daddy tightly when he spoke of letting the woman wait. "As you wish, Daddy," she smiled and kissed his cheek. Lowering her voice to a whisper she whispered in his ear. "But it looks like she likes you. She looks at you when you are not looking, and when you look at her, she blushes and looks away. Wild turned red when Prince Blaz looked at her like that, and now they are married."
She was interrupted in her pondering when she heard a high-pitched girlish scream from a man, then a roar of anger. Turning her head she saw little Charlotte running across the floor as fast as her tiny legs could carry her. The child laughed as she ran, aiming towards the table where Saben and Lady Eileen were seated. Charlotte threw herself under the table, latching her tiny arms around Daddy's leg while the man chasing her growled with anger only a few feet away.

Therese smiled when Marshall spoke of his clothes as nothing special. "But I like the color," she said softly. "It matches your eyes, and your skin looks more tanned when you wear this color. Besides, the shirt shows off your strong muscles..."
The girl giggled softly when Marshall spoke of having the coordination of a drunk mule and half the charm. "Good, that makes two of us," she replied. "I am no dancer either, since we didn't have much to celebrate in the orphanage, but I am willing to give it a try if you will dance with me. Shall we?"
Offering her hand, she looked up at him, allowing him to decide where to start practicing their dance.
