The sun shone high in the sky scorching the pale flesh of the Vampire Armand to the very core, his flesh bubbled as if lava was dumped over his body. Armand had been running from vampire hunters and slayers alike the night before, when he noticed the sun rising it was already too late. It all started with the light touching his skin causing him to feel like he had been greatly sun burned, then his flesh began to slowly melt and peel off like paper in a fire pit.
At that point it was hard to keep his eyes open, causing him to run into walls and trip over trash cans and animals scurrying across the ground. On and on he ran to find shelter, but the only place he could really find was a Cemetery. There was no way he was going into the church, he'd be damned to walk in there. quickly he scanned the area, there seemed to be some crypts and Mausoleums in the area, so he dashed to the crypt, his body catching on fire just before making it inside the stone cased walls.
Armand tried his best to keep his painful screams quiet as he attempted to put the flames out by patting himself down and moving about the room only to fall down the stairs. That seemed to help a bit, along with rolling on the floor to put out what was left.
Armand tried his best to stand, but it was no use, he was too weak from being in the sun for much too long. He needed blood, but the only things down here were dead bodies and....Rats...
Snatching up one of the Greasy garbage pickers he took a chunk out of the squealing creature before draining it of it's blood. How disgusted his lovely Nightshade would be if she saw him drinking from a rat. hell she'd probably gag at the site of him drinking blood from any creature.
After about five rats later, he was finally able to at least see through the darkness and gain some usage of his legs again, sure he limped but it was better then crawling.
Limping over to a stone coffin, he shoved the lid open the best he could in his weakened state, noting was in it, it lie empty. "perfect...." he spoke to himself before hearing the cawing of a crow. He held his hand out and reached into his pocket with the other to take out a small book with blank pages and a pen to rip out a page and write a note to his nightshade right where he's located and that he may be late coming home due to....complications and becoming injured before signing his name at the bottom.
the crow that had perched it's self on his shoulder began to preen it's feathers while it waited for Armand to roll up the paper and tie it together with the red ribbon he had to pull from his hair allowing the black mess of hair to fall over his shoulders. he then tied the note to the crow's foot, "please find the elves...." he had written Nightshade's name on the paper so hopefully the note would arrive in her possession.
After the Crow was gone, Armand then ran his fingers over the red satin lining of the stone coffin before lifting himself in it to lay on his back before falling into a deep slumber.
