SLUMBER PARTEH-----*
Was there anything so juvenile like a sleepover? Of course not; at least, not on Nani's watch, for what was the use of stressing over being an adult and following the bland ways of those unwilling to stray from the boring agreements of the world? If she learned anything from caring and watching over her little sister, Lilo, for so long - it was embracing her own individuality, no matter how strange or peculiar her views or tendencies seemed. So, winging this whole operation with her best smile, she wiggled into her apron and strapped on the outlandishly patterned bandana with enthusiasm. She gathered the proper ingredients and kept the instructions close in case something went terribly wrong. She might've also equipped the kitchen with a fire extinguisher as a precaution. "Let's do this," Nani told herself as she rolled up the dough, sprinkled cavity-inducing whatnots over it before tossing each batch into the oven. The house smelled ridiculously sweet, though the same could not be said for the baker as she quickly flung her apron and bandana to the side, making a break for the stairs.
The time was close to recieve her guests, but she didn't exactly want to greet them in her current state. She was sweating from the time she spent in there roasting like a holiday ham! There was only one way to solve this. "Can I stay here forever?" she sighed blissfully, closing her eyes as she enjoyed her little bubble bath. "Thanks." As much as she enjoyed her moments in the tub, she had to rush through the process and slither right into some very comfortable shorts and, for once, a black shirt that actually covered her stomach. She scrambled out of the restroom and was greeted by a prideful Jumba. "Bigger girl, I feel this would improve your primitive lives greatly if you would give me a moment to -" he exclaimed, his grin wide as he wanted to share with her his latest experiment, but she just wouldn't have any of it.
"Oh, no. Don't tell me they're here already!" she groaned, running past the alien. She had no time to listen to his well-intentioned show-and-tell. Pleakley, who was sitting on the couch with a gossip magazine, didn't bother to look her in the eye as he idly reminded her that the girls were on their way. And judging by the device in his other hand, it was beeping, quickly indicating their arrival. She skidded over to her room, organized where the two were going to sleep, and brought the goodies she baked earlier that day so they could enjoy them when it was time to munch. The remaining bits she knew they all couldn't really eat in excess was given to Stitch so he could present the other half to Lilo. Yes, she was aware the pair would be hyperactive, but tonight was a special occasion for her. She whirled around as a blinding flash of green sent her two friends hurling into present time. Nani looked as if nothing different happened and smiled broadly, looking thrilled.
"Hey, guys. Wow, I am so sorry about that. Time travel isn't really all that great when you're the one doing the traveling. It's pretty fast, though, considering how many centuries apart we really are --" she stopped as she noticed how quickly she rambled, instantly making a rather awkward pause. "Uh. I'm also thinking we should just start the slumber party. Thirsty?"
